The assignment took me around town, met the outgoing and incoming mayor, and spent time with a couple of families. The weather put a slight damper on the plans, but I was pleased with the overall outcome of the images and how they ran in print!

I recently photographed chemistry professor Marya Lieberman at her University of Notre Dame lab for a story in Bloomberg Businessweek. Lieberman’s team developed a field test to detect whether the correct amount of active ingredient were present in the chemotherapy drugs they received.
