A belated honeymoon took my wife and me across the Atlantic to Italy for two weeks this spring. I hadn’t been to Italy in over a decade and was craving the food, history, and art.

It was a year of change and growth. From a solo gallery to travel articles, the work allowed me to showcase my photographic style and expand into new areas and develop new relationships. Take a look at some of my favorite images from 2022.

In the summer of 2022, I spent three weeks traveling throughout Iceland. I worked to create images that showcased the raw power and beauty of the island. The images ran as an interactive essay on The Washington Post’s website and also as a large single-page spread in print.
