Back it again in the studio.

This session with Adam involved a couple of lighting setups that I have utilized in previous creative portrait sessions, but also one new method.

I am continuing to explore the power of gels and the color of light on the mood of the imagery. Additionally, the play with slower shutter speeds and strobes mixed with constant lighting continues to create more evocative images than simply informational ones.

The most significant test was when we utilized plexiglass and water to create a multitude of Adam’s in the droplets. This was an idea I had been dreaming up for a while. My take on the image is that it is nearly there, but I think there is room for tweaking to make it even more effective.
